Evidence informed meditation and movement practices designed to train attention, cultivate compassion and help us become more present with ourselves, the people around us and the moments that matter.
Not at all. Neuro Still practices are designed to be accessible whether this is your first session or you already have an established practice.
Everything is guided clearly, with an emphasis on curiosity rather than getting anything “right”. There is no perfect meditation and no perfect posture.
What's different about Neuro Still?
We're not interested in meditation simply as a way to escape a busy life or achieve a perfectly calm mind.
We use meditation and slow movement as ways of training attention, learning to notice where it has gone and intentionally bringing it back.
Over time, our practices also explore compassion: how we meet ourselves and others with greater understanding while maintaining healthy boundaries.
Our wider philosophy is simple:
Attention + Compassion = Connection.
We practise these skills so we can become more present not only during a session, but with ourselves, the people around us and the moments that matter.
What happens in a Neuro Still session?
Our Meditation sessions are 30 minutes and centre around a 22-minute guided practice, using breath, body awareness and a gentle body scan to train attention.
Our 60-minute Yin sessions use slow movement, held postures, breath and intentional periods of silence to train attention through bodily sensation.
The two practices feel different, but share the same fundamental principle:
Notice where your attention has gone. Return. Begin again.
What if I can't stop thinking during meditation?
That's completely normal, and we don't ask you to stop thinking.
At Neuro Still, the practice is learning to notice when your attention has wandered and gently bringing it back.
Notice. Return. Repeat.
Every time you notice you've become caught in thought and return to the breath or body, you're practising the skill we're here to develop.
